SUBSTANCE ABUSE

ALCOHOL: i've been SOBER for 6 months now. NO BULLSHIT! I have not consumed an alcoholic beverage since Christmas Eve 2007. The enemy isn't alcohol in itself, rather the over indulgence. My frat party days are in the past and i am in no way wanting to resurrect that part of my life. Everyone must know when to move on to bigger, better dreams and my time has come.

So i raise my champagne glass in one hand, toast with my crown and redbull in the other; Here's to growing up and moving on.

on that note: pulling into thailand tomorrow afternoon. coming off the midwatch i'll have been up for 12+ hours before getting off the ship. i need to get out of this military mind set.
