work hard, sacrifice, grind now.. and reap the benefits!

1 year 8 months total, 13 months at this command alone, and i've already accomplished more in less time than those that joined the navy before me. NOW it's time to set my sights on bigger and better things! Buying a house, buying a truck, and taking care of the family. First thing i did was call my parents to let them know the good news. Woke them up at 5am San Diego time. It felt great to give them some good news.

Hopefully this promotion translates into a place out in town (instead of having to live on the ship), getting my japanese drivers license, and a car. More importantly it means i'll be eligible for BAH when i get back to SD for my next duty station. Slowly everything is falling into place.. maybe now i can relax a bit to widen my dating pool, strengthen social circles, and pour more creative energy into my art.

Summer leave is going to be extra special.

STEP YOUR GAME UP! I'M FOCUSED.
